With 23 top players competing for European football's top award, candidate Zlatan Ibrahimovic said he doesn't expect to win it.

"Despite being a candidate (for the award), it is hard to win it as I did not play in World Cup. So many fantastic players showed up at the World Cup, thus they have an advantage over me."  The World Cup is a contest among national teams contested every four years.
