Turkey's policy with Syria is fairly frank and we are standing by Syrians who are demanding democratic rights, Turkish FM said.

Turkey's policy with Syria is fairly frank and we are standing by Syrians who are demanding democratic rights, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has said on Monday.

Talking at the Syrian Oppositions Conference in Cairo on Monday, Davutoglu expressed that his country was supporting the efforts of Arab League to solve the ongoing turmoil in Syria.
Stating Al Assad regime was using indiscriminate and deadly force to quell protests, Davutoglu said that Turkey received more than 35,000 Syrians with open arms.
"We consider Syrians in Turkey as brothers and sisters. We are sharing everything with them and will continue to share. From the beginning, Turkey has been standing by Syrians who are demanding democratic rights," said Davutoglu.
Defining the current regime's effort as a sisyphean challenge, Davutoglu stated that to quell the protest with heavy weapons was a pivotal mistake by the regime.
Davutoglu labelled the opposition groups as an organism that would build the future of Syria.
Davutoglu also warned the opposition groups to band together.
