Anadolu Agency (AA) Director General & Executive Board Chairman Kemal Ozturk promoted AA Finance Editorial Desk, a new project of the agency for finance professionals.
Speaking at Bloomberg HT, Ozturk said that Finance Editorial Desk would host Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan on November 7, and Central Bank Governor Erdem Basci on November 12.
Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan attended the inauguration of the Desk and said that the desk should be the common platform of public finance institutions, noted Ozturk.
Noting that Turkey was almost the strongest and soundest economy of its region, Ozturk said that Turkey did not even feel the economic crisis in Europe.
AA Finance Editorial Desk earlier hosted several Turkish officials including Science Industry and Technology Minister Nihat Ergun, Capital Markets Board of Turkey Chairman Vedat Akgiray, President of Istanbul Stock Exchange Ibrahim Turhan, Chairman of Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) Mehmet Buyukeksi, Director General Turkish Airlines (THY) Temel Kotil, and Chairman of the Association of Real Estate Investment Companies (GYODER) Isik Gokkaya.
