Leader of regional adm. in Iraq's north condemns terrorist attack in Turkey's southeast
Massoud Barzani, leader of the regional administration in Iraq's north, condemned the terrorist attack which killed six soldiers and two village guards in Turkey's southeastern Hakkari province.
Barzani expressed sorrow over the attack, and said that such attacks would not be for the interest of Kurds as well as they would prevent efforts for finding peaceful solutions.
War and clash would deepen and escalate the crisis, he added.
PKK terrorists staged an attack on several base regions and Gecimli military outpost in Cukurca town ofHakkari on August 4, killing six soldiers and two village guards. 15 troops, 1 village guard and 5 civilians were injured in the same clash. Meanwhile, 12 terrorists were killed during operations.
