AA enters region controlled by opponents in Syria
ALEPPO (AA) - July 23, 2012 - Anadolu Agency (AA) team has entered the region which was taken under control by dissidents in Syria.
Following the clashes which have been continuing between Syrian army and the Free Syrian Army in Aleppo for days, the opponents seized the control of Selahaddin, Sahur, Hanan and Tariq al-Bab regions completely.
AA team, which entered the region, witnessed that Syrian army had to withdraw due to heavy attack of opponents.
Meanwhile, hundreds of armed opponents near Aleppo stated that they would support the dissidents in the region after they completed the preparations.
The armed opponents, which began to move to Aleppo, told AA that al-Assad regime was about to be overthrown, adding that the regime was heavily defeated especially in Aleppo.
During operations of Free Syrian Army in rural areas of Aleppo, tanks of al-Assad army were destroyed while arms were seized.
AA has become the first news agency in the world which recorded opponents during the close combat in the region.
