Mubarak still alive
The Egyptian Supreme Council of the Armed Forces said on Wednesday that former president was still alive.
A council member, Muhsin al-Fanjari, said that Hosni Mubarak was still alive but his condition was critical.
Al-Fanjari denied reports that Mubarak had died and also the reports that Mubarak had died clinically.
A military executive told AA correspondent that Mubarak had two heart attacks, and his condition was critical, while another executive said that Mubarak's health worsened after he was taken to Tora prison.
Mubarak was hospitalized to a military hospital near Tora prison on Tuesday evening after his health worsened.
Mubarak in critical condition
Egypt's ousted leader Hosni Mubarak was in critical condition after having a stroke in prison on Tuesday.
State-run news agency MENA initially reported Mubarak was ''clinically dead" after arriving at a military hospital near Tora prison, but a military official denied the report, saying he was put on life support.
Mubarak was found guilty of instructing security forces to intervene protestors during public demonstrations that began on January 25, 2011 and was sentenced to life in prison (25 years).
