Turkish Cypriot leader receives European commissioner

LEFKOSA (AA) - June 20, 2012 - The president of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) received European commissioner for enlargement on Wednesday.
The meeting between Dervis Eroglu and Stefan Fule took place at the TRNC Presidential Office in Lefkosa.
Fule will also meet Prime Minister Irsen Kucuk, main opposition Republican Turkish Party (CTP) leader Ozkan Yorgancioglu and executives of the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce.
Stefan Fule will also attend inauguration of "Bandabulya", a municipal market, in Lefkosa, which has been restored within the scope of a United Nations Development Program project, and then hold a press conference.
Fule is visiting Cyprus as the Greek Cypriot administration will take over the rotating presidency of the European Union (EU) on July 1.
