Ataturk Airport breaks all time record
On June 15, there were 548 departures and 542 arrivals at the Ataturk Airport
After becoming Europe's top airport with the number of passengers served in April, Istanbul's Ataturk International Airport broke an all time record with air traffic.
In a written statement released Saturday, the General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMI) said that on June 15 the number of planes departing from and arriving at Ataturk Airport was recorded as 1,090.
In other words, a plane either departed from or arrived at the Ataturk Airport every 75 seconds.
On June 15, there were 548 departures and 542 arrivals at the Ataturk Airport.
