The Turkish Foreign Ministry on Tuesday dismissed allegations that the country's electronic visa application program has facilitated illegal migration to Europe.
A statement from the ministry rejected reports on foreign media as "baseless" and said e-visa covered a range of tourism and business activities.
"All measures necessary for security have been taken and our country has had no problem with visitors who traveled to Turkey with an e-visa," said the ministry.
