DAMASCUS
At least 17 people have been killed in a missile attack launched by Syrian government forces on the outskirts of capital Damascus, opposition activists said.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights Group said on Wednesday that dozens were wounded, including children, when a market in Douma was targeted.
Syria has been gripped by violence since the regime launched a crackdown in response to anti-government protests in March 2011. The network said more than 126,500 have been killed since.
