Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan accused some media groups of misrepresenting the actual numbers who attended his campaign rallies by taking photos of the audience hours before the rallies begin.

Erdogan, speaking in the eastern Turkish cities of Elazig and Malatya on Thursday said that what other media claim were people photoshopped in - he said are real people attending his rallies.

Addressing the people of Elazig, Erdogan called for opposition leaders to leave politics should they be beaten by his Justice and Development (AK) Party in local elections on March 30.

"Cairo, Gaza, Jerusalem, Damascus, Aleppo, Sarajevo and all Muslim world is watching us. They are waiting for our victory on March 30 local elections because the AK Party government is the voice of all oppressed people in the Islamic world," added Erdogan.

Erdogan, also making Rabaa sign said that the sign for him signifies four things: single nation, single flag, single homeland and single state for all ethnic groups living on Turkish territories.

The Turkish PM slammed the U.S.-based scholar Fethullah Gulen and said that for the Gulen movement "ends justify the means."

Erdogan requested Elazig people to remove their children from the Gulen-linked private schools and exam preparation centers called 'dersanes.'
