Moreover, SRGC claimed that chemical weapons were used against armed groups by Assad forces in Jobar neighborhood of Damascus.

Sources said fierce clashes were continuing between Syrian army forces and opposition members.

Syrian Revolution General Commission (SRGC) had been claimed that Assad forces used chemical weapons in Harasta region which is located in the west of capital Damascus and mainly controlled by Free Syrian Army (FSA). SRGC had noted that Assad forces used chemical weapons directly on FSA units which were trying to seize control of Harasta region.

The Secretary-General of United Nations (UN) Ban-Ki Moon had expressed his concerns about the escalating clashes and casualties especially in Qusayr city in recent days, telling his concern about increasing participation of Hezbollah in the clashes in Syria as well as the risk of spillover to Lebanon.
