Mexico to host 2018 global energy forum

ISTANBUL

 The seventh World Forum on Energy Regulation, WFER7, will be held in Mexico in 2018 Mustafa Yilmaz, head of Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority, EMRA has confirmed.

Yilmaz announced the location of the next WFER event on Tuesday during a gala dinner of WFER6 in Istanbul’s historical Ciragan Palace.

WFER6's official global communications partner is Anadolu Agency which received a participation certificate in gala dinner. Certificate has received by Sabri Celebioglu, AA's acting regional director of Istanbul.

The WFER is the leading international conference on energy regulation, held once every three years and WFER6 started in Istanbul on Monday and will run until Friday.

The forum aims to develop a common approach to energy regulation by bringing together regulatory heads and representatives from developed and developing countries.

The conference will interest regulatory agencies, energy companies, specialists and academicians alike.
