ANKARA
The debt stock of Turkey's central government stood at 602.1 billion Turkish liras ($260 billion) at the end of November, Turkish Treasury announced Monday.
Debt stock is a measure of debt held by a country, including domestic and foreign liabilities such as currency and money deposits, securities other than shares, and loans.
Most of the debt, 413.5 billion Turkish liras ($179 billion) was in Turkish currency and 188.6 billion Turkish liras ($81.5 billion) in foreign currency.
The central government debt stood at 599.7 billion liras at October end.
