Global attendance at international energy meeting

Ankara has hosted the seventh International Energy Congress and Fair, and The Anadolu Agency was global partner for the conference.
Representatives of governments from all over the world attended, including Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz, Chinese Energy Development Department Head Wang Binghua, Mozambique’s Deputy Energy Minister Jaime Himede and South Korea Trade, Industry and Energy Minister Yoon Sang-Jick.
Representatives from the Turkish parliament, state controlled energy institutions and private energy actors also joined the congress.

Energy markets and energy investments in Turkey, international energy projects, energy security in Turkey and the world, renewable energy financing and applications were among the subjects that were discussed by experts.
The congress, organized by the Global Energy Association, ran from Nov. 24 to Nov. 25.
