Dogus Cay, a leading Turkish tea producing industrial company, bought 100 percent shares of Kraft Gida, the Turkish subsidiary of Kraft Foods US.

Dogus Cay stated on Friday that it extended investments in chips sector by purchasing 100 percent shares of Kraft Gida.
Kraft Foods, working under food producer Mondelez International, owns Patos, Cipso and Cerezos trademarks in chips sector.
Legal procedures are underway for the hand-over of the company, stated Dogus Cay.
Dogus Cay Executive Board Chairman Suleyman Karakan said that they had been preparing for the purchase for a long time, adding that they were building a chips factory, which would have 25,000 tons production capacity and cover an area of 20,000 square meters, in central Anatolian province of Aksaray.
