The Bosnian post office has selected an Anadolu Agency photograph to use on a stamp to highlight the dangers of natural disasters.

The aerial image, taken at the height of the floods that hit Bosnia in May 2014 in the northern town of Orasje, will be used on a triangular postage stamp to mark the catastrophe.

According to the UN, 79 people were killed in Serbia, Bosnia and Croatia in flooding that affected more than 2.6 million.

Mujo Butkovic, general manager of Bosnia and Herzegovina Posta, said: "We want to remind people of the flood... when the large part of the country was adversely affected."

Up to 10,000 of the stamps, which went on sale last month, have been printed.
