Anadolu Agency to cover Turkish presidential election voting abroad
Turkish citizens living abroad will be able to cast their votes in upcoming presidential election.
Turkish nationals living abroad will be able to cast their votes in the forthcoming presidential election. Anadolu Agency will cover the process extensively with its offices located in the countries where the voting will take place.
The first round of the election is scheduled in Turkey for August 10. Should none of the candidates secures more than 50 percent of the vote, a second round will take place on August 24.
The overseas edition of the the first round will be held between July 31 and August 3 in Germany, the U.S., Belgium, Denmark, France, the Netherlands, Israel, Switzerland, Italy, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Lebanon, Romania, Saudi Arabia and Turkmenistan.
The first round will be held in Canada, Australia and Russia between July 31 and August 2. Turkish citizens in Bulgaria and Kazakhstan will cast their votes on August 1-3.
In Austria and Greece, the first round of the voting will take place on August 2-3, whereas Turks in Algeria, U.K., Sweden, Japan, Qatar, Kyrgyzstan, Hungary and Macedonia will vote on August 17-18.
Turkish nationals in China will go to polls on July 31 for the first round, which will be held on August 2 in the United Arab Emirates.
The first round voting in Albania, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Finland, South Africa, Georgia, Iran, Ireland, Spain, Kosovo, Kuwait, Egypt, Uzbekistan, Poland, Sudan, Tunisia, Ukraine, Oman, Jordan and New Zealand will be held on August 3.
The unofficial results will start to come up after the voting concludes in Turkey on August 10. Anadolu Agency will report the results minute-by-minute with a special broadcast.
